Dr. Walter Schlebusch New CEO of Giesecke & Devrient

The Supervisory Board of Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) has appointed Dr. Walter Schlebusch as the Group’s new CEO and Chairman of the Management Board. Taking up this position on July 1, he will succeed Dr. Karsten Ottenberg, who will be leaving the company on June 30, 2013œ
Walter Schlebusch has been a member of the G&D Management Board since January 1, 2000. He is responsible for the Banknote business unit, which incorporates banknote and security paper production, as well as banknote printing and processing.
