CommVault Signs Distribution Agreement In New Zealand

November 2007 by Marc Jacob

CommVault announced it has signed a distribution agreement in New Zealand with Value Added Distributors Ltd. (VAD), a leading solutions oriented distributor. The agreement strengthens CommVault’s channel reach within the New Zealand market and continues the momentum of recent CommVault partnership and distribution agreements announced around the world.

CommVault’s partnership with VAD will deliver even more value to both existing and new resellers in New Zealand, allowing CommVault to more easily reach and identify resellers that have the capabilities and experience to develop, market, deliver and implement CommVault’s software solutions. Under the partnership agreement, VAD will distribute the full CommVault Simpana(tm) 7.0 software suite including Data Protection, Replication, Archive, Search and Storage Resource Management modules. As the principal distributor for the full range of IBM hardware in New Zealand, VAD’s partnership with CommVault complements VAD’s existing distribution agreement with IBM.

This latest announcement builds on a number of agreements CommVault has signed in recent months. Just last month, CommVault signed distribution agreements with two leading Russian resellers CROC Inc. and Inform Project Ltd., and also announced its first entry into the Indian market with a distribution agreement with Inflow Technologies. Also in October, CommVault extended its OEM agreements with HDS and Dell to deliver its Simpana(tm) 7.0 software suite.
