Nlyte Software Named a Leader for Second Year in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Data Center Infrastructure Management Tools

October 2015 by Marc Jacob

Nlyte Software announced that for the second straight year, it has been positioned in the Leaders quadrant of the Gartner, Inc. Magic Quadrant for Data Center Infrastructure Management Tools. The report evaluated 15 different vendors and recognized the company as a leader based on completeness of vision and ability to execute.

Gartner defines Leaders in the Magic Quadrant as those that provide mature offerings with a comprehensive range of DCIM functions and capabilities. Nlyte Software is a recognized data center infrastructure management (DCIM) pioneer with the largest recorded number of pure DCIM deployments with a 99 percent retention rate. The company continues to be the leader enabling IT teams to have greater visibility into the data center with its introduction of data center service management (DCSM) solutions, which combine data center infrastructure management, robust workflow capabilities and seamless integration into IT service management (ITSM) solutions.

"We believe that DCIM solutions are vital for enterprises to cost effectively achieve their SLAs and enable IT organizations to accurately compare their costs to private clouds," said Mark Gaydos, chief marketing officer for Nlyte Software. "With more than a decade providing proven solutions, we are proud to be acknowledged once again by Gartner as a Leader in the DCIM Magic Quadrant."

Now in its seventh major release, the Nlyte product suite provides intelligent capacity planning, power management, cooling and space management, asset provisioning and refresh while seamlessly integrating into all leading ITSM and virtualization platforms. Nlyte’s DCSM solution is available both as on-premise software and as a SaaS offering.
