certgate wins Best Practices Award

April 2011 by Marc Jacob

Frost & Sullivan bestowed the coveted “New Product Innovation Award 2011" on Nuremberg-based certgate GmbH during the “Infosecurity Europe“ in London, the international IT security fair. With the award the consulting firm pays tribute not only to the innovative technology of the hardware-based security solution for mobile devices developed by certgate, but also to its great relevance in secure mobile communication.

During the Infosecurity Europe from 19 to 21 April certgate GmbH will be exhibiting a number of applications for smartphones which have been developed on the basis of the certgate micro SmartCard. This includes the “world’s safest smartphone“ – SiMKo2 – with which T-Systems protects the confidential communication of the German government amongst others. Partner solutions for a convenient and highly secure voice encryption, mobile banking solutions and a secure virtual workplace on a microSD card illustrate the broad variety of applications offered by the certgate technology.
