An attacker can use several vulnerabilities of systemd.

DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY

Several vulnerabilities were announced in systemd, the service
starting daemon.

An attacker can generate an integer overflow, in order to trigger
a denial of service, and possibly to execute code. [severity:2/4;
859051, CVE-2013-4391]

An attacker can access to files while their permissions are
updated, in order to obtain sensitive information. [severity:2/4;
859060, CVE-2013-4392]

An attacker can block the journald service, in order to trigger a
denial of service. [severity:1/4; 859104, CVE-2013-4393]

An attacker can use a special XKB Layouts Description, in order to
escalate his privileges. [severity:2/4; 862324, CVE-2013-4394]
