DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY
The neon library implements HTTP and WebDAV protocols. It is
impacted by two vulnerabilities.
An attacker can construct complex XML data in order to generate a
denial of service in applications linked to neon. This
vulnerability is the same than VIGILANCE-VUL-8761
(https://vigilance.fr/tree/1/8761) which impacts APR. [grav:2/4;
BID-36080, CVE-2009-2473]
An attacker can invite the victim to connect to a SSL site using a
X.509 certificate with a field containing a null character, in
order to deceive the victim. This vulnerability is similar to
VIGILANCE-VUL-8908 (https://vigilance.fr/tree/1/8908), even if the
vulnerable source code is different. [grav:2/4; BID-36079,
CVE-2009-2474]
