DESCRIPTION
The libxml2 library implements features to handle data in the XML
format. It has two vulnerabilities.
A big XML file generates an integer overflow in the
xmlSAX2Characters() function of SAX2.c, leading to code execution.
[grav:2/4; 470466, BID-32326, CVE-2008-4226]
A big XML file generates an infinite loop in the xmlBufferResize()
function of tree.c. [grav:1/4; 470480, BID-32331, CVE-2008-4225]
An attacker can therefore create a big XML file in order to create
a denial of service or to execute code when it is analyzed by
libxml2.
