SYNTHESIS OF THE VULNERABILITY
An attacker can send malicious data to ADFS of Windows 2012, in
order to trigger a denial of service.
Impacted products: Windows 2012.
Severity: 2/4.
Creation date: 09/02/2016.
DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY
The ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services) service can be
installed on Windows 2012.
However, malicious authentication data generate a fatal error in
ADFS.
An attacker can therefore send malicious data to ADFS of Windows
2012, in order to trigger a denial of service.
