DESCRIPTION
The VideoLAN VLC program displays multimedia documents. It has two
vulnerabilities.
An attacker can create a malicious RealText subtitle file in order
to create a buffer overflow in libsubtitle_plugin. [grav:2/4;
TKADV2008-011]
A CUE file indicates the name of the artist and the titles of a
dvd. A malicious CUE file creates a buffer overflow in
libvcd_plugin. [grav:2/4; TKADV2008-012]
An attacker can therefore create a malformed file in order to
create a denial of service or to execute code on computers of VLC
users.
