An attacker can generate an error in the CAD of IBM Tivoli Storage
Manager, in order to trigger a denial of service.
Impacted products: Tivoli Storage Manager.
Severity: 2/4.

DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY
The IBM Tivoli Storage Manager product uses the CAD (Client
Acceptor Daemon).
However, an attacker can use a malicious url to generate a fatal
error in CAD.
An attacker can therefore generate an error in the CAD of IBM
Tivoli Storage Manager, in order to trigger a denial of service.
