An attacker can send a specially crafted ill formed LLDP packet to
Cisco NX-OS, in order to trigger a denial of service.
Impacted products: Cisco Nexus, NX-OS.

DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY
The Cisco NX-OS product has a service to manage received LLDP
packets.
However, when a malicious packet is received, a fatal error occurs.
An attacker can therefore send a specially crafted ill formed LLDP
packet to Cisco NX-OS, in order to trigger a denial of service.
