SYNTHESIS OF THE VULNERABILITY
An attacker can send a malicious IPv6 packet to Cisco ASR 5000, in
order to trigger a denial of service.

DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY
The Cisco ASR 5000 product has a PM (Proxy Mobile) service to
manage IPv6 packets.
However, when a malicious packet is received, a fatal error occurs.
An attacker can therefore send a malicious IPv6 packet to Cisco
ASR 5000, in order to trigger a denial of service.
