Tempest Security Intelligence has announced an expanded presence in the United Kingdom. Raising £5.5 million (R$28.2 million), Tempest will be increasing its employees to 160 across its London and Brazillian offices in order to better meet the demands from the Financial, Media, Telecom and E-Commerce sectors that need Cybersecurity expertise.
Over the last four years since they set up their UK operation in 2012, Tempest Security Intelligence has seen a dramatic rise in demand from its European customers through their unique way of approaching threat intelligence. With attackers finding increasingly creative ways of deceiving their targets, Tempest is able to assist customers including The Economist Group, Tesco and Guardian News & Media with their cyber security needs and combat digital fraud.
The Brazilian based company also has the ability to see new and upcoming threats through its extensive threat intelligence in South America, with newly emerging threats in the UK more than often having been tested in Brazil beforehand.
Utilising its threat intelligence capabilities, Tempest is able to inform customers about the threats they are facing, advise them on technologies that are more resilient to these threats, and suggest a less riskier path than the one they are currently on.
Tempest’s UK headquarters are at 5 Harbour, Exchange Business Centre, South Quay, Canary Wharf London United Kingdom.
