St. James’s Place chooses Sysec for Managed Security

November 2010 by Marc Jacob

Sysec has been selected by St. James’s Place, one of the UK’s leading wealth management companies, to provide a secure, managed email service. St. James’s Place specialises in high quality wealth management services for individuals and organisations and has £24.8 billion of investment funds under management. The expertise and experience of its Partners has been recognised with numerous financial services industry awards, including being recognised as Wealth Manager of the Year 2009 by Investors’ Chronicle and Financial Times.

Confidentiality of information and secure client communication are of paramount importance to the company’s reputation and its ability to provide the highest quality service to its clients.

According to Nick Holden, Divisional Director of Technology Services at St. James’s Place, “Maintaining a secure email system is vital to our business and our ability to service our clients effectively. It needs to be available round the clock, protecting the confidentiality of client information and eliminating the threats posed by unsolicited email to our information security. We chose Sysec to provide this managed service after careful evaluation of a range of options for maintaining our email security.”

St. James’s Place chose Sysec because of their security technology expertise, experience and their consultative approach to the design and implementation of a managed email security service that fits the business needs of the company.

Nick Holden added, “Sysec is providing this service more cost-effectively than we could achieve using our in-house resources. We can rely on the service to ensure that our business email remains fully protected.”
