ServiceNow Named as a Leader in Strategic Portfolio Management Tools by Forrester

ServiceNow announced that Forrester Research Inc. has named ServiceNow a “Leader” in The Forrester Wave™: Strategic Portfolio Management Tools for Q3 2017 (published Sept. 20, 2017) for its IT Business Management (ITBM) solution.
ServiceNow received the highest scores possible in the program/product management, integration support, product strategy, and partnership ecosystem criteria. ServiceNow scored higher than any other vendor in the portfolio management criterion. Furthermore, the report states, “Clients talked about the common platform, flexible workflow, and configurability as prominent features that helped them to deliver on strategic technology portfolios.”
According to Forrester, Strategic Portfolio Management tools are essential in digital transformation, and that “getting the most value while keeping waste to a minimum illustrates that companies need a portfolio-centered approach to strategic planning and product delivery.”
For this report, Forrester evaluated vendors against 27 criteria, which were grouped into three high-level categories: Current Offering, Strategy, and Market Presence. The report shows how each provider measures up and helps enterprise architecture (EA) and portfolio management office (PMO) professionals make the right choice.
