Secureasia@singapore conference & exhibition offers Asia-Pacific’s largest gathering of Global Infosec gurus

(ISC)²® (“ISC-squared”), the not-for-profit global leader in
educating and certifying information security professionals throughout their careers with more
than 68,000 certified members worldwide, today announced its fifth annual information security
conference, SecureAsia@Singapore Conference & Exhibition, scheduled for July 26 - 27, 2010
at Suntec Singapore.

SecureAsia@Singapore Conference, a conference series of InformationSecurityAsia,
which has been held annually since 2006, will be co-organized by (ISC)² and the Association of
Information Security Professional (AiSP). The conference will bring together over twenty
information security industry experts from the Americas, EMEA and the Asia-Pacific regions to
share their insights and strategies. Over 400 information security professionals from the region
are expected to attend the conference.

“We are happy that (ISC)² has decided to hold this year’s SecureAsia in Singapore and
are pleased to collaborate with them for what is sure to be a successful event,” said Gerard Tan,
president of AiSP. “The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Building a Secure Connected
Future.’ The two-day conference is a high profile event and promises to bring together gurus in
information security from all over the world. I am confident attendees will find this conference
not only engaging but also a golden opportunity to network, share knowledge and perspectives,
and learn new things first-hand from distinguished experts.”

The keynote and opening address will be made by Mr Chan Yeng Kit, permanent
secretary, Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts, Singapore. Prof. Fred Piper,
Fellow of (ISC)², Information Security Group, Royal Holloway, University of London, UK, will
be giving a keynote address titled ‘Challenges of Information Security’.
“With the support of AiSP, our affiliated local interest group in Singapore, the Infocomm
Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), we are able to pull together a solid mix of local and
international expertise in one venue,” said W. Hord Tipton, CISSP-ISSEP, CAP, CISA,
executive director for (ISC)². “SecureAsia@Singapore offers delegates a unique opportunity to
exchange ideas and collaborate with information security luminaries from around the globe.”

The two-day conference agenda will also include keynote addresses and more than 20
other tracks on management security, technical discussion with demonstration, professional

Concurrently, SecureAsia@Singapore Exhibition, which is organized by Protemp, is the
specialized tradeshow on information security solutions and services. It provides a niche

SecureAsia@Singapore will also host the 4th Annual (ISC)² Asia-Pacific Information
