SAAS Provider Ignite 360 selects Data Foundry’s premium Data Center

Data Foundry, a provider of wholesale and retail data center outsourcing, colocation and disaster recovery services, announces that Ignite 360, a Software as a Service (SaaS) and business IT services provider, has selected Data Foundry’s premium Austin data center for colocation and Internet connectivity supporting its mission critical production servers and Cloud architecture.
Ignite 360 utilizes Data Foundry’s data center for secure colocation and blended Internet bandwidth connectivity to support its core infrastructure for Cloud Storage and SaaS Hosting. “The Software as a Service market has experienced double-digit growth in recent years,” states Shane Menking, President of Data Foundry. “Our colocation and carrier-neutral offerings are designed to meet the demanding requirements of this sector and offer flexible, customized configurations to support applications and services on demand.”
Data Foundry’s Austin data center offers Ignite 360 the added benefit to scale as business grows. In the complex SaaS environment, the ability to immediately scale its servers and cloud platforms is essential to keep up with instantaneous demand. Data Foundry’s highly-secure Austin data center has over 40,000 square feet and is supplied by two power feeds from a 400-megawatt substation, providing ample space and power to allow for growth.
Data Foundry’s newest facility, Texas 1, is designed to support high-density colocation deployments. Planned for completion in Q2 2011, this master-planned 250,000 square foot data center is engineered to be fully redundant across all critical infrastructures. With options ranging from dedicated cabinets, cage space and build-to-spec data suites, Texas 1 will address any size data center configuration. Ignite 360 plans to expand into Texas 1 as its SaaS offering grows, taking advantage of the new premium features Texas 1 will offer.
