Rosenberger OSI recognized as market leader in the German data center market by international research company BSRIA

Rosenberger Optical Solutions & Infrastructure (Rosenberger OSI) has been identified as the market leader in the German data center segment in the recently published study "Structured Cabling 2022" by renowned research company BSRIA.
The British research and consulting organization BSRIA (Building Services Research and Information Association) provides specialized services in the field of construction and building technology. As a non-profit association with over 650 member companies, the trading company BSRIA Limited provides the associated services. All profits generated are reinvested into the association’s research program, which aims to develop best practice guidelines.
16 countries put to the test
The comprehensive research study examined a total of 16 countries from 2022 to early 2023, including the USA, Brazil, China, Germany, the UK, and France. The data from 2021 included seven countries such as Canada, Australia, and Spain, while the 2020 data covered countries such as Japan, the Netherlands, and Russia. Overall, the results provided a comprehensive analysis of the global market.
Cabling market grew by 10 percent
The study showed that the German structured cabling market grew by over 10 percent in 2022, both quantitatively and qualitatively. Although the market initially benefited from the lifting of remaining Covid-19 restrictions, growth was once again affected by geopolitical events such as the war in Ukraine. Manufacturers struggled with supply issues that impacted production and sales.
The persistent inflationary pressure was further exacerbated by supply chain issues, leading to repeated price increases. Despite these challenges, the data center market continued to show solid growth and outperformed the LAN market, albeit with a lower margin than in previous years.
Rosenberger OSI emerges as leader in the German data center market
Despite the intense competitive situation in the German market for structured cabling, as highlighted in the study with a large number of strong players, Rosenberger OSI has once again taken the top position as the leading company in the field of data centers and fiber optic connections. This result underlines the company’s excellent position in the industry and its ability to provide innovative data center solutions. The decisive factors were the revenues generated in 2022, completed projects, and the consistently secured supply capability due to reliable supply chains.
