Rolls out a global partner programme to offer its channel partners profit margins through a new concept called Secure Margin

Check Point Software Technologies Ltd has announced UTM-1 Total Security Competitive Replacement Program for its channel partners. The programme maximises the profit incentive for partners while offering customers a substantial discount to replace existing competitive security products and upgrade their technology to superior Check Point solutions. The Competitive Replacement Program enables partners to provide savings to customers and offers them profit margins through a new concept called Secure Margin.

This global programme is extended towards customers who want to upgrade their technology to the Check Point security products and solutions as a replacement for their existing non-Check Point products. The programme will be valid till 30 June 2008.

Process of the programme is as follows: channel partners identify a competitive replacement opportunity and provide an equivalent or better Check Point solution in coordination with Check Point channel managers; Check Point channel manager verifies customer discount, channel margin structure and provides a non standard pricing (NSP number); and channel partners submit to Check Point the purchase order, including NSP number, certificate of decommission from customer and customer invoice.

"Check Point realises the investment made by the channel to deliver quality Check Point products and solutions, the competitive replacement programme is to add value and profitability for their loyalty and those who participate actively," said Bhaskar Bakthavatsalu, country sales manager, India and SAARC, Check Point Software Technologies.
