Ralf Wintergerst Elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board of secunet AG

At the Annual General Meeting of secunet Security Networks AG held today, Ralf Wintergerst, Chairman of the Management Board of Giesecke+Devrient, was elected to the Supervisory Board. Following the Annual General Meeting, the members of the Supervisory Board elected him as its new Chairman.
Ralf Wintergerst replaces the member of the Supervisory Board Axel Deininger, who had resigned from his position with effect from today’s Annual General Meeting. The former Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Dr Peter Zattler, was elected Vice-Chairman. With a stake of around 79 percent, Giesecke+Devrient is the majority shareholder of secunet Security Networks AG, one of Germany’s leading providers of superior IT security.
