Quest Software, Inc. today released four Toad® Multi-DB Suites to support database administrators (DBAs) and developers tasked with managing heterogeneous database environments. Users can save up to 50 percent with the suites compared to purchasing each Toad product separately.

The suites provide deep functionality for Oracle, SQL Server, and IBM DB2 LUW administration and development. Each suite is tailored for either the developer or DBA and provides the following functionality:

o Toad Multi-DB Suite – Xpert: Takes the nuances of each database platform into account, providing a deep level of development functionality in addition to querying and reporting, data modeling and SQL validation from three popular multi-platform Toad products.

o Toad Multi-DB Suite – Developer: Gives developers all of the functionality in Xpert, and helps guarantee application success through improved code quality, performance and maintainability.

o Toad Multi-DB Suite – DB Admin: Provides DBAs with the functionality available in Xpert, plus additional administration functionality that includes database health checks and task automation.

o Toad Multi-DB Suite – DBA: Includes all of the functionality in DB Admin, plus the ability to automate maintenance, ensure optimal performance, and mitigate the risk of change

Each of the four Toad Multi-DB Suites from Quest are built to address different roles and levels of expertise, while providing the familiarity and functionality users have come to expect in Toad.
