Preventing data leakage and misuse: Blancco introduces portfolio of new data erasure software and hardware solutions for professional use at CeBIT 2010

The current debate on the protection of confidential data in companies and public authorities is just the tip of the iceberg of the current development in data protection. New: File shredder for day-to-day use!
Designed for daily use, the new Blancco Enterprise File Shredder allows for the fast, controlled and permanent erasure of folders, files and free space on servers and desktop PCs. The user-friendly interface allows you to easily install the File Shredder and securely destroy documents including Excel sheets, Word and PDF files.
New: One of the fair’s hardware highlights will be Blancco’s portable Erasure Cube for deleting HDDs (FC, SCSI, SAS/SATA, IDE). The combination of solid casing, compact design and professional erasure software makes it an indispensable tool for data processing centres, service providers and companies with flexible requirements, e.g. for the erasure of individual hard drives. The Erasure Cube allows for the simultaneous erasure of up to four (optionally eight) HDDs.
