Netwrix Builds Technology Partner Ecosystem Based on Netwrix Auditor Platform

June 2016 by Coline Magne

Netwrix Corporation announced the launch of the Netwrix Add-on Store. By enabling add-on development based on the Netwrix Auditor platform and its RESTful API, the Netwrix Add-on Store expands the company’s ecosystem together with its technology alliance partners and customers.

The new ecosystem is designed to bring a powerful gateway for the IT community to extend visibility provided by the Netwrix Auditor unified platform and ensure smooth integration with an unlimited number of IT systems and applications.

Netwrix Auditor is a visibility and governance platform that enables control over changes, configurations and access in hybrid cloud IT environments to protect data regardless of its location. The platform provides security analytics to detect anomalies in user behavior and investigate threat patterns before a data breach occurs.

Netwrix Auditor RESTful API enables full integration with any IT system or application and gathers all user activity data in one platform. The integration can work both to collect audit data from various applications, centralize reporting, storage and research; and to leverage other solutions like SIEM, GRC platforms, CRM, service desks, and more by feeding them with granular audit data.

The Netwrix Add-on Store already offers two examples of seamless integration, available for free: Amazon Web Services and HP ArcSight, with more coming in the near future. The RESTful API feature simplifies building custom add-ons, uploads them to the store and shares them with the IT community. The API integration script is simple and straightforward, so creating new add-ons doesn’t require exceptional script-writing skills.
