LogLogic Delivers 2x Software Performance and Enhanced Mobile Capabilities with Updated Log Management Solution

LogLogic announced the latest version of its solution software, version 4.9, will be available shortly. Version 4.9 delivers 2x software performance of previous releases and includes enhanced support for mobile platforms. With over 40 new features, LogLogic 4.9 combines powerful log management, analytics and search functions with flexible pricing for any enterprise environment.
LogLogic 4.9 provides enhancements for enterprise environments, including direct support for SAN archival, SHA-256 message digests for tighter enterprise archive integrity, collection from more than 8,000 devices per appliance, and powerful new ST alerts. Release 4.9 will be rolled out for the company’s family of LX, ST and MX products, including the new LogLogic ST2020 SAN, a high-performance logging appliance solution that connects directly to enterprise-class Fibre Channel SAN environments. Large- and mid-sized companies can now better capture, search and store their log data to improve business operations, monitor user activity and meet industry standards for security and compliance.

New Features in LogLogic 4.9:
• Built-in support for direct connectivity to Fibre Channel SAN environments without additional gear or appliances;
• More devices supported per appliance (double on H2 appliances and 4x on the new ST2020 SAN);
• New ST alerts that can be customized and delivered via SNMP, email or on any mobile device;
• Support for SHA-256 message digests for enhanced archive integrity;
• New device management capabilities, providing more systems operation controls; and
• Enhanced integration with LogLogic Security Event Manager products, enabling auto-identification of log sources.

LogLogic 4.9 is available later this week as a free upgrade to current customers under Support contract. For new customers, LogLogic 4.9 pricing start at $14,995 for the LX appliance.
