(ISC)2 certified professionals reach 10.000 in EMEA

(ISC)2® (“ISC-squared”) announced that they have awarded professional certification to the 10,000th member within the EMEA region.
Celebrating its 20th year as a professional certification body within information security, (ISC)2 is concerned with enhancing internationally recognised standards for information security skills. The first international not-for profit body to develop an accepted professional standard for the practice of information security with the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSPÒ), (ISC)2 now provides lifetime career support with a family of credentials and educational offerings covering management, technical and specialist areas, including the recently introduced Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional ( CSSLPÒ).
The strength of the (ISC)2 membership and recognition for its programmes and services is providing a trusted and sizeable skilled workforce for European organisations in a growing number of countries: the United Kingdom (3165); Netherlands (956); Germany (712); France (466); Switzerland (442); Spain (363); and Sweden (305), along with six other countries in Europe housing more than 200 members.
