Gaëtan Paccou, Vade Retro : Our goal is to develop our distribution network in France and in Europe

March 2011 by Marc Jacob

Vade Retro is present for the first time on the In The Business trade show. This presence can be explained by a strong ambition to expand its business by building a wide network of resellers. For this main reason, this French specialist of antispam filtering will also be present in London at Inforsecurity. For Gaëtan Paccou, Vade Retro’s Marketing Director, the creation of new French and International sales channels is essential to corporate growth.

GS Mag : What is the latest news for Vade Retro ?

Gaëtan Paccou : We are currently growing our network of channel partners. On that particular point, we are already seeing the first benefits of our participation to the IT Partners trade show last February. On another level, the fact that we were the first to discover the Cofidis Cdiscount phishing attempts highlighted our expertise and added to our reputation.

For the sixth consecutive time we were in the top 5 solutions of the VB Spam ranking. We also launched our Vade Retro Center offer. A solution aimed at SMEs, large corporations and administrations that wish to protect themselves from unsolicited e-mails before they even arrive on the company’s network. Vade Retro offers a hosted messaging protection and guarantees the return to an efficient, flexible and secure messaging infrastructure.

GS Mag : This is the first time Vade Retro is present at “In The Business”, what is your opinion on this edition ?

Gaëtan Paccou : The first half-day was rather shy in terms of attendance. On this second day there is a little more traffic, we hope that Thursday will remain on the same trend.

GS Mag : What is your Road Map for this first semester ?

Gaëtan Paccou : We’ll be present at Info Security in London between the 19th and the 21st of April to raise our international profile. We hope to meet partners there and launch our solution at the international and British level.
