April 2010 by Marc Jacob

Electronics Line 3000 Ltd., a global provider of residential security with remote management, launches CommPact, a uniquely small, innovative, all-in-one-box wireless residential security solution, available with GPRS and/or PSTN communication modules. CommPact will be launched at IFSEC 2010, May 10-13, at the NEC in Birmingham, UK.

CommPact has been uniquely designed to include all essential residential security functionalities, with the added bonus of extra small packaging, simple wireless installation and advanced remote management capabilities based on GPRS, and at a competitive market price. The solution provides uncompromised reliability and advanced functionality, and offers users intuitive operations as well as easy upgrades and monitoring for providers.

CommPact allows users to be always up to date regarding their home and loved ones and in control of their system by receiving SMS and email notifications, and sending SMS commands and requests for updates. Moreover, CommPact GPRS incorporates a dedicated Web user interface for interactive, on-line system control, integrated location based services, video look-in, system settings and controls, and more. The solution also includes a dedicated WAP user interface offering the same on-line remote management features as the Web user interface for users to enjoy through their mobile handsets.

Providers benefit from CommPact’s comprehensive suite of management applications and diagnostic tools, offering real-time monitoring en masse, mass remote management, maintenance and status check as well as on and off site configuration and remote firmware updates.

CommPact is suitable for partners such as monitoring and installation companies, value-added distributors, property developers and service providers to incorporate into their offering and enjoy a value-for-money residential security solution.
