Dot Hill extends Partnership with Avnet Technology Solutions EMEA

Dot Hill Systems Corp. announced it has extended its European partnership agreement with Avnet Technology Solutions, a distributor of enterprise computing products, software and services.
Under the terms of the agreement, Dot Hill’s modular enterprise storage platform based on the company’s Rapid Evolution (R/Evolution) architecture will be incorporated into the product portfolio of Avnet Technology Solutions to address the needs of its mid market customers.
The Dot Hill R/Evolution series features a choice of 4Gb Fibre Channel, 1Gb iSCSI or 3Gb SAS host interfaces and both Serial-ATA (SATA) and Serial attached SCSI (SAS) disk drives with industry-leading uptime. The series offers scalability and flexibility, enabling customers to expand up to 108 high-performance SAS, low cost SATA II drives or any combination of the two for tiered storage implementations.
Dot Hill uses EcoStor battery free alternative for cache back up in the event of a power failure.
