CETREL secures its Web infrastructure with Bee Ware

Bee Ware, the specialist in secure Web application delivery, has reasserted both its position in the financial sector and its presence in the Benelux region by supporting CETREL in the initiative to protect its Internet infrastructure.
Located in Luxembourg, CETREL is synonymous with state-of-the-art electronic banking technology. Known for its expertise in the management of payment systems and automated banking operations, CETREL provides a range of value-added services built on stringent security criteria that also correspond to ground reality.
Because of the nature of their business, it is crucial for the organization to ensure the protection of their IT system, their Internet infrastructure and also their Website. Taking these imperatives into account the company looked towards an integrated solution that would enable it to efficiently ward off external attacks.
A prerequisite of the project consisted in identifying a solutions vendor who proved to be a pure player within the Web application security marketspace. The choice utltimately settled on i-Suite, the solution from Bee Ware. The deployment was handled by CETREL who managed the integration process from end-to-end.
In practice, i-Suite has shielded CETREL from various incidents including hacking and SQL injection attacks. The infrastructure thus benefits from complete protection.

Buoyed by the success of the initial rollout, CETREL is currently upgrading to the latest version of the product, i-Suite v5. This new development in the lifespan of the project is set to provide access to the latest innovations, such as the recently launched XML Firewall.
