BeyondTrust expands management team for Europe, Middle East & Africa

BeyondTrust announced two key appointments for Europe Middle East and Africa: Sales Director Brent Thurrell and Director of Engineering Brian Chappell. These appointments reflect the company’s focus on growth and expanding market opportunities. Based in the UK, Thurrell and Chappell will report to BeyondTrust VP International, Brian Murphy.
Thurrell brings extensive IT industry experience within the identity and access management space. Thurrell’s previous roles include Director of EMEA for Aveksa Inc., Vaau Inc. (acquired by Sun Microsystems) and founder of Scholabo Ltd. He has also held positions at Capita PLC and Xerox Corporation.
Chappell has more than 20 years of IT enterprise experience. Prior to joining BeyondTrust, Chappell’s successful career has spanned high-tech multi-nationals, including Amstrad plc, BBC Television and Xircom Inc, Brian held senior IT roles including International Operations Manager for Cidera Inc and Global IT Consultant for GlaxoSmithKline
These appointments follow the recent news that Peter Evans has joined BeyondTrust as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), bringing over 25 years’ experience gained in organisations including Internap Network Services, Internet Security Systems and Air Defense.
