Bee Ware introduces new XML Firewall
November 2010 by Marc Jacob
Bee Ware has unveiled a new XML firewall extension as part of a long-term strategy to reinforce the protection of http:// infrastructures.
According to the firm, the effective protection of XML data exchanges requires the use of an XML firewall. However market offerings are still far from being mainstream and core XML message routers do not fully address the issues that security managers face.
In use, the new XML firewall, now part of Bee Ware’s triple-play platform which also includes WAF and Web SSO, is billed to inspect messages and block XML traffic identified as dangerous. Other features include the handling and transformation of XML traffic to ensure both security and compatibility. The solution has been specially designed to fit requirements for Web Services and XML security as well as SAML interactions.
A major benefit also lies in the optimized workflow functionality which is geared to simplify adoption for diverse IT profiles from security managers to software administrators.
The new product is available via Bee Ware’s customer portal (https://my.bee-ware.net) and is listed at a starting price of 4500€.
