April Santé Prévoyance is offering a new way of purchasing health insurance. This fully electronic service, automated with its management systems, allows potential clients to apply online, over the phone, or even directly with an adviser in the branch. Consequently, the entire process is actually completed with no use of paper.

Dictao Trust Platform (DTP) provides the security and trust functions that make it possible to complete these transactions electronically. Instead of signing the contract manually, April and the prospect use electronic signatures, which offer the same legal value. DTP also enables April to generate evidence of the transaction.

Arnaud Vaidie, who is in charge of the DTP solution, specified that "these electronic contracts are for individuals who are not yet insured by April and who can therefore easily sign a new contract. They can use their mobile phone to be authenticated in a simple, intuitive way."

When prospects purchase the insurance online or over the phone, they fill out the contract on their own computer. They then receive a one-time password on their mobile phone, which serves to prove their identity. By entering that password when requested they generate the electronic signature that completes the contract. When physically in the branch, prospects can interact with an insurance adviser and electronically complete and sign the contract.
Laurent Monarque, the Director of Strategy and Development for April, confirmed that "Dictao Trust Platform lets us offer new services for our prospects and distributors. They can access the applications 24/7, and can now complete them in a single operation. This means prospective clients no longer have to print contracts, manually sign them and send them in by mail or fax." He further added that this "fully electronic contract service helps April optimize distribution and simplify the purchase of health insurance."
