14,500 Cybersecurity Professionals Join (ISC)² Online Community in First 30 Days

(ISC)² announced more than 14,500 cybersecurity
professionals have joined the new online (ISC)² Community since its launch last
month.
The (ISC)² Community is an open forum for (ISC)² members and other security
experts to connect, share best practices and help advance the cybersecurity
profession.
The (ISC)² Community is open to anyone interested in engaging cybersecurity
professionals in discussions related to cyber, information, software and
infrastructure security. Top conversations so far, include:
– Discussion of new password guidelines from NIST
– Knowledge sharing on the E.U. General Data Protection Regulation
(GDPR)
– Advice for responding to the KRACK exploit to secure wireless devices
– Best practice sharing for vulnerability management
– Volunteer opportunities to educate children on cybersecurity
