Ransomware Attacks on Healthcare Organizations Increased 94% in 2021, According to Sophos Global Survey
2 June 2022, by SophosSophos has published a new sectoral survey report, “The State of Ransomware in Healthcare 2022.” The findings reveal a 94% increase in ransomware attacks on the organizations surveyed in this sector. In 2021, 66% of healthcare organizations were hit; 34% were hit the previous year.

12 October 2015, by IDCAccording to International Data Corporation’s (IDC) Europe, Middle East, and Africa Quarterly Security Appliance Tracker, the EMEA security appliance market reached $837.65 million in 2Q15, for a 0.2% year-on-year decline. Shipments increased 4.0% year on year to 183,885 units. Over the next five years the security appliance market is expected to accelerate at a CAGR of 6.3% and reach $4.59 billion (1,018,373 units) by the end of 2019.
