Vision-Box® inaugurates new office in Brazil

Vision-box, a supplier of electronic identity solutions, intelligent security management and automated border control systems announced the inauguration of a new office in Sao Paulo to support the company’s growth in Latin America.
The main financial centre in Latin America was the location chosen for the new office. Positioned in the heart of Sao Paulo, on Paulista Avenue, the office will consolidate the company’s operations in all of Latin America.
Vision-Box® has been expanding its presence and leadership in the region, having developed projects in Venezuela, Colombia and Brazil, such as an integrated video surveillance solution at the Beira-Rio Stadium, in Porto Alegre, the implementation and maintenance of an innovative video surveillance system at the Arena Castelão Stadium in Fortaleza, which will enable the supervision and control of all the arena and surrounding area during the World Cup, integrating all building automation systems and access control, and also the installation of an advanced manual border control and passport delivery solution for the Brazilian Federal Police.
With its reinforced presence in Latin America, Vision-Box® will bring to the region its long experience in automated border control, electronic identity and video-surveillance solutions from projects implemented around the world. The company has deployed over 300 Automated Border Control (ABC) eGates in 30 international airports and over 3000 biometric identification and document verification units all over the world.
More recently, Vision-Box has developed ABC systems for the new Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar and also, through a contract signed with the UK Border Force, will install the latest generation of eGates in the main airports of the UK.
The inauguration of the new office on Paulista Avenue is scheduled for October.
