DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY
Several vulnerabilities were announced in glibc.
An attacker can provide malicious data to strftime(), in order to
obtain sensitive information. [severity:2/4; CVE-2015-8776]
An attacker can bypass security features in LD_POINTER_GUARD, in
order to escalate his privileges via a suid program.
[severity:2/4; CVE-2015-8777]
An attacker can generate an integer overflow in hcreate(), in
order to trigger a denial of service, and possibly to run code.
[severity:2/4; CVE-2015-8778]
An attacker can generate a buffer overflow in catopen(), in order
to trigger a denial of service, and possibly to run code.
