DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY

Several vulnerabilities were announced in VMware.

A local attacker can create a symbolic link named
/tmp/ifconfig.$$.txt, in order to alter the pointed file, with
privileges of the application. [severity:1/4; CVE-2014-4199]

An attacker can read the archive, in order to obtain sensitive
information. [severity:2/4; CVE-2014-4200]
