Un attaquant peut créer un certificat Wildcard IDN, qui est
accepté par Python, afin de réaliser un Man-in-the-Middle.

DESCRIPTION DE LA VULNÉRABILITÉ
Un nom de domaine IDN (International Domain Name) peut contenir
des caractères Unicodes encodés. Par exemple :
www.xn--kcry6tjko.example.org
Un certificat X.509 peut contenir le caractère ’*’ pour indiquer
qu’il peut être utilisé sur les serveurs d’un même
sous-domaine. Par exemple :
w*.example.org
La RFC 6125 interdit les caractères ’*’ dans les certificats pour
des IDN. Par exemple :
xn—kcry6tjko*.example.org
Cependant, Python autorise ces certificats.
Un attaquant peut donc créer un certificat Wildcard IDN, qui est
accepté par Python, afin de réaliser un Man-in-the-Middle.
