DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY

The nbd program (Network Block Device) creates a virtual block
device on a remote computer. The client can then access it like
for a local hard drive.

During the negotiation phase between the client and server, an
attacker can create a denial of service.

Technical details are unknown.

A network attacker can therefore create a denial of service via
nbd-server.
