An attacker can send special SIP packets to Cisco IOS, in order to
trigger a denial of service.

Impacted products: IOS, Cisco Router xx00 Series

DESCRIPTION OF THE VULNERABILITY

The Cisco IOS system can process SIP messages.

However, specific messages targeting the router trigger a memory
leak or a reload. Technical details are unknown.

An attacker can therefore send special SIP packets to Cisco IOS,
in order to trigger a denial of service.
