Vade Retro Unveils its Email-Filtering APIs For Email Application Developers
November 2014 by Marc Jacob
Vade-Retro announced today the release of its full range of APIs for email apps Developers, to manage both business and personal emails.
In a nutshell, Vade Retro will allow email app developers to integrate a simple, valuable technology, through 2 different APIs:
– Graymail Management API:
o Email classification: filtering that separate low-priority emails (social network notification, ads, newsletters…) from primary inbox, into dedicated folders.
o Safe Unsubscribe: cancel a subscription from the sending list in one click, instead of deleting the email every time you receive it.
– Anti-phishing API: each URL that figure in an email is analyzed by Vade Retro to check the website in real-time and determine whether it is a phishing website or not.
Incorporating Vade-Retro’s API into third party emails apps let developers gain features to improve their apps and meet their user’s needs, faster. Offering a smart heuristic filtering, the APIs are independent from any OS and allow developers to add filtering capabilities to their email app quickly while avoiding costly development. Finally, Vade-Retro APIs address both worlds: security and efficiency.
The Vade-Retro email and Graymail management technology delivers to one’s primary inbox only high-priority emails that need to be responded to, while the Graymail inbox stores all the bulk messages that have been subscribed to, voluntary or not. The Spam folder holds everything else while threats are automatically deleted.
