Trend Micro Worry-Free(tm) Business Security 5.0

June 2008 by Marc Jacob

Trend Micro Incorporated has integrated added data
and identity theft protection for Intuit QuickBooks users within Trend
Micro’s newly launched Worry-Free Business Security 5.0 for small
businesses. The protection feature for QuickBooks users helps protect
QuickBooks data from unauthorised changes by other programs.

Worry-Free Business Security 5.0 passed the Intuit Developer Network’s
(IDN) technical review for QuickBooks integration and other product
functionality.

QuickBooks protection is easy to deploy for customers of Worry-Free
Business Security 5.0. Users simply check the "Enable Intuit QuickBooks
Protection" box found within the program, and the Behavior Monitoring
component of Worry-Free Business Security 5.0 is activated to help
protect QuickBooks data from unauthorised changes. The QuickBooks
"folder lockdown" capability included in Trend Micro solution is a layer
of added security to help protect QuickBooks users from data or identity
theft.

With approximately 3.7 million customers, QuickBooks is the leading
financial accounting package for small businesses. Trend Micro is the
first company to extend small business security to this critical small
business application for financial accounting. With Trend Micro
Worry-Free Business Security 5.0, users of QuickBooks are assured that
the critical financial accounting data they use to run their business
has added protection from theft and corruption.

 Availability:

This feature is standard in Worry-Free Business Security 5.0 and is
available wherever Worry-Free Business Security 5.0 is sold. Intuit
QuickBooks is available in the U.S., U.K. and Canada.
