The first universal VPN client for Windows 7 in the world

February 2009 by Marc Jacob

NCP offers an universal IPSec Client Suite for Windows 7 on the Remote Access VPN market. The software is compatible with VPN gateways of all established VPN manufacturers and offers a broad performance spectrum for economical and safe data traffic on the internet. Users and administrators can use the application very easily thanks to integrated automatism and optional management functions. It is no problem to connect existing directory services and managements systems to a central VPN management.
Many companies test the beta version of Windows 7 on their PCs. Now NCP offers also a beta Secure Client Software for Windows 7 to enable companies to include their teleworkers into the test environment. Other supported operating systems are Windows Vista 32/64 Bit, Windows XP 32/64 Bit, Windows 2000, Windows Mobile 5/6.x, Symbian and Linux.

The VPN Client offers as a Client Suite an intuitive, graphical user interface; its own dialer, dynamic personal firewall and the integrated support of a large number of mobile connect cards. Teleworkers get a real "one-click-solution". Comfort functions for the easy and economical use such as budget manager, WISPr-support, automatic media type recognition, import of profiles of "foreign" VPN gateways and OTP mobile support reduce support costs and also lower costs for training and/or documentation.

Further cost saving effects result from the central management. Mass rollouts and VPN operation are simplified by automatic functions for the creation of user configurations, parameter locks, software updates and an effective change management. This "Single point of administration" is complemented by Network Access Control Functions (NAC), PKI support, the integration of identity and access management systems as well as directory services on LDAP basis such as Microsoft Active Directory.
