The European Molecular Biology Laboratory chooses the latest version of our Free Cooling Adiabatic Modul’Room © developed by Modul’Data Center

Our new customer "European Molecular Biology Laboratory", located on the campus of the CEA Grenoble, choose our new modular data center equipped with innovative adiabatic cooling whose the first goal is to reduce the electrical consumption outside IT while maintaining a perfect service providing.
For this project, all the choices were made primarily by a technical approach. In fact, the client was impressed by the new technology "free adiabatic cooling" which can operate up to 40 ° without the use of a traditional air conditioning. This technology fully meets the desired criteria with improved energy efficiency and a real return on investment related to its very low consumption.
Indeed, the target WUP is less than 1.1. Usually, for computers consuming 1W, the European average consumption is 2.53W (PUE = 2.53). For the range of our Modul’Room, we currently have a PUE of 1.45 for the classical, 1.25 for the free cooled and up to 1.06 for the new "adiabatic" model.
Our team is working every day to improve this figure which is nowadays an indispensable asset to be considered, but also to densify the number of racks supported in a smaller space while remaining perfectly usable and covering the data center standards.
All Modul’Room are designed with every characteristic of a true Data Center. They are delivered with complete and ready plugs and with remote controllers over standards networks. All of them are quickly settled anywhere. Moreover they are fitted exactly to the needs thanks to their ability to distinguish the hot trends in the market.
