Secure Communication “Made in Germany” Available Across Europe

October 2013 by Marc Jacob

Secusmart, a provider of highly secure voice and data communication solutions is coming to the MCE conference in Brussels on the 22nd and 23rd of October, 2013. At the Information Security Solutions Conference (ISSE), Secusmart will be presenting SecuSUITE for BlackBerry 10, the high security solution for mobile communication known in Germany as the ‘Merkel phone’. On the first day of the congress, on the 22nd of October from 3pm onwards, Secusmart will be giving a presentation on the topic of ‘Government-Grade Communications Security for Europe’.

The Information Security Solutions Europe (ISSE) conference in Brussels offers the ideal platform for security experts to get an overview of the latest products and services in the security industry, as well as exchanging information on the up-and-coming technical and political challenges. With SecuSUITE for BlackBerry 10, Secusmart has placed a high security solution for secure mobile computing in the running. This offers an effective combination of easy-to-use smartphone comfort with high class security on a single device. After months of successful trials, the anti-eavesdropping solution was granted provisional approval from the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for use with the German VS-NfD(for official use only)/ NATO Restricted classification. This makes the Secusmart innovation the only anti-eavesdropping solution which has received the provisional seal of approval for combined voice and data communication security thus far. German Ministries and governmental organizations have taken advantage of this development for a while now. According to company statements, 23 government agencies have procured the SecuSUITE for Blackberry 10 device, with more than 1,200 orders being fulfilled up to now.
