STULZ CyberCool Indoor generates a cooling capacity of up to 100 kW with a very small footprint

December 2017 by Marc Jacob

STULZ has added chillers with a stepless capacity control (EC compressor) and an output from 20 to 100 kW to its portfolio. Chillers from the CyberCool Indoor series have been designed for indoor installation. The new version was specially engineered to precisely adapt to low or fluctuating heat loads. With a maximised temperature range from 4 to 18 °C at the chilled water outlet the CyberCool Indoor is suitable for a broad range of applications. In the data center, in medical technology or the process industry: It allows planners maximum freedom for individual project specifications and customer requirements.

Chillers from STULZ’s CyberCool Indoor series are available with a choice of three systems: air-cooled with external condenser, water-cooled, or the TCO-Leader with Indirect Free Cooling and intelligent mode switching (compressor cooling, free cooling or mixed mode). All three systems can be standardly equipped with ON/OFF compressors or with new energy-saving EC compressors. These EC versions contain two complete, redundant refrigerant circuits and ensure high efficiency in partial load. The system reacts quickly to dynamic load fluctuations avoiding ON/OFF cycling to guarantee an extended equipment life.

The Indoor chillers are designed to fit through all standard doorways for easy installation. The separation of indoor unit and external condenser/dry cooler as well as the general use of low noise components meet stringent noise restrictions. Installing the chiller close to the consumer unit reduces heat losses while still ensuring energy-efficient, reliable cooling.

Another key benefit is that the design of all CyberCool Indoor units allows easy maintenance because important components such as compressors, expansion valves and pumps are accessible from the front. Also, STULZ offers an extensive portfolio of options, a global network with prompt service and proactive support.
