Prof. Klaus Josef Lutz is new Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Advisory Board

Prof. Klaus Josef Lutz assumes the position of Chairman of the Advisory Board and Supervisory Board at Giesecke & Devrient with immediate effect. The Advisory Board and Supervisory Board voted unanimously for the new Chairman during today’s sessions.
Shareholder Verena von Mitschke-Collande explains: "In Prof. Lutz we have found an experienced, distinguished figure within the company to become the Chairman of our Advisory Board and Supervisory Board whom our shareholders trust to further supervise and advance our company in the new direction we are taking." Prof. Lutz has been Chairman of the Management Board of BayWa AG in Munich since July 2008. Moreover, Klaus Josef Lutz serves on the Supervisory Board at various quoted and private companies. He has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Giesecke & Devrient since April 2014.
Achim Berg is new member of the Supervisory Board and Advisory Board
The latest member of the G&D Supervisory Board and Advisory Board is Achim Berg. Up until the middle of this year, he was the Chairman of the Management Board at arvato AG, a member of the board of management for Bertelsmann SE, and a member on the Supervisory board for the RTL Group. "We are delighted that Mr. Berg’s long-standing experience is being used to enhance our Advisory Board and Supervisory Board in corporate management matters and that he will employ his expertise to further develop our market potential," comments shareholder Verena von Mitschke-Collande.
