OpenTrust Reinforces its Management Team as Part of its International Expansion Plans

OpenTrust, an emerging global provider of open and secure IT Ecosystems, has today announced the appointment of Christophe Therrey as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Mehdi Bermy as Chief Marketing Officer.

In his new position with OpenTrust, Christophe Therrey will be responsible for the development of sales activity both in France and worldwide. His mission includes the development and management of corporate partnerships, strategic alliances and the ecosystem of worldwide integrators.

Prior to joining OpenTrust, Christophe Therrey worked for three years as General Manager for Novell France and Africa and as a member of the EMEA Senior Leadership Team as well as acting Vice President for the EMEA Resource Management Business Unit. Novell is a leader in the field of secure open infrastructures and a major open source contributor.

Christophe Therrey began his career as a sales engineer with France Telecom before joining PTC (Parametric Technology Corporation) where he successively filled the positions of Sales Engineer, Sales Director, Development Director Asia and Vice President PTC Distribution Network for Western Europe, Middle-East and Africa. Christophe Therrey holds a diploma in sales and finances from the Reims Management School (RMS - Sup de Co).

As for Mehdi Bermy, he joins OpenTrust as the head of strategic marketing and planning. He is responsible for the software solutions intended for both B2B and B2C markets, and will take charge of all international marketing activities, product management and partnership marketing. Mehdi Bermy holds a Masters in Marketing (UK) and a PhD in International Relations (France).
