Lieberman Software’s Enterprise Random Password Manager™ Achieves SAP Certification

Lieberman Software Corporation announced that its flagship privileged identity management product, Enterprise Random Password Manager (ERPM), has achieved SAP certification as powered by the SAP NetWeaver® technology platform. With this integration, ERPM is certified to manage privileged identities in support of SAP® solutions.
The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that ERPM integrates with SAP NetWeaver Gateway 2.0 technology. The ERPM solution has also demonstrated capabilities for accessing lists of users that can be retrieved under the current login credentials by changing user passwords of the SAP solutions on the back-end.
Privileged identities hold elevated, super-user permission to access sensitive data, install and run programs, and change configuration settings. They exist on virtually every server and desktop operating system, business application, database, Web service, and network appliance in large organizations.
ERPM finds, secures and tracks privileged identities located throughout the enterprise. In doing so, it ensures that only delegated and audited personnel can access sensitive systems, with an approved purpose, for a limited amount of time.
As a result of the certified integration, ERPM is helping to better secure environments supporting SAP solutions by preventing the risky practice of shared administrative credentials. Rather than multiple IT administrators sharing the same privileged passwords anonymously, ERPM provides unique and complex passwords for each privileged account, and reports who had access to each privileged login, when, and for what purpose.
In addition, with its new certification, Lieberman Software has joined the SAP PartnerEdge® program as an SAP software solution and technology partner. Through the program, partners work closely with SAP to develop and certify the technical integration of their solutions with SAP software. Integrated partner applications extend, complement and add value to SAP solutions, thereby helping mutual customers more successfully meet business needs and drive strong results.
