May 2010 by Emmanuelle Lamandé
Iron Mountain has appointed Simon Duddy as Commercial Director for the UK Public Sector and Healthcare.
In his new role, Duddy will assume responsibility for growing Iron Mountain’s customer base within these sectors and find bespoke solutions to meet their evolving information management needs. This includes helping government and National Health Service (NHS) customers to successfully integrate physical and digital information, leveraging additional value from their data resources whilst increasingly focusing on information risk management, data security and compliance.
He will lead a highly specialised and experienced team as well as develop channel partnerships. Duddy will also be charged with extending Iron Mountain’s already healthy customer base in the public sector, which includes the National Health Service, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and the Probate Service.
Prior to his new appointment, Duddy was the Head of Consulting for the National Health Service Supply Chain contract within DHL, responsible for product development and strategic transformation initiatives. Previously he helped medical manufacturers develop and implement supply chain strategies across Europe, and was responsible for designing a new logistics service for the National Health Service in London.
